Privacy Policy

Rambunctious.tv is operated by Rambunctious Rhino, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("Rambunctious," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use rambunctious.tv and the services offered on it — campaign planning and purchase, Creative Studio, the Campaign Desk, and our emails — and what we do with it.

We are a managed streaming-TV advertising service for businesses. Most of the information we hold is about the businesses and the people who work with us to run campaigns. Where we handle data about your customers on your behalf, we say so below.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you build a plan, start a campaign, order creative, book time with a strategist, contact us or sign up for our newsletter, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you provide one, your website, and your campaign details (markets, dates, investment, the audiences you describe). If you order creative, we also collect your brief and the brand assets you upload or point us to.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the card brand and last four digits, and the billing details Stripe shares with us. We never receive or store full card numbers.

Customer data you share for targeting. If you choose Audience & Database Targeting, you may share customer, prospect or target-account lists so we can reach those households on streaming TV. We collect these only after you start a campaign, through a private upload arranged by your campaign manager — never by email. We use them only to run your campaign, as described in Section 3.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect standard technical information: the pages you view, the links you click, the referring page, your browser and device type, your IP address and the approximate location it implies, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies for this; see Section 6. We will list any analytics or advertising measurement tags we run in Section 6 when they are enabled.

Information from our advertising partners. The platforms that deliver your campaign report back to us on delivery and performance: impressions, completed views, the markets and audiences reached, and similar measures. These reports are aggregated. They do not identify individual viewers to us.

2. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • build your plan, run your campaign, produce your creative, and report results in your Campaign Desk;
  • communicate with you about your campaign, your account and your orders, and answer your requests;
  • send you our newsletter and other marketing if you have signed up for it — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and a preferences page;
  • operate, secure and improve the site and the service;
  • prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the law and our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

3. Advertising and measurement data

Your campaign runs on streaming-TV platforms through our advertising partners. Targeting uses the geography you choose, audience segments licensed from data providers, and — only if you choose to share them — your own customer or account lists.

When you share a list, it is matched to households by our partners using privacy-preserving methods, so that neither we nor the platforms need the readable list to deliver your ads. We use your lists solely to run your campaign. We do not sell them, license them to anyone else, or combine them with other customers' data. We delete a list when the campaign it was shared for ends, unless you ask us in writing to keep it for a following campaign.

Retargeting reaches people who have visited your website. It works only if you place our measurement tag on your site; what that tag collects from your visitors is governed by your own privacy policy and the notices you give them, and we act on that data only on your instructions.

Reporting on your campaign is aggregated. We do not build profiles of individual television viewers, and we do not receive viewer identities from the platforms.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to provide the service and run our business:

  • Service providers that host the site, store our data, deliver our email, process payments (Stripe), and provide analytics — under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing those services to us.
  • Advertising partners and platforms that plan, buy, deliver and measure your campaign, to the extent needed to run it.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process or a government request, or when we believe sharing is necessary to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in who is responsible for your information.

A current list of the categories of service providers we use is available on request at hello@rambunctious.tv.

5. Your choices

  • Marketing email. Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it, or change what you receive on the preferences page linked from every email. We will still send you emails about your campaigns and account.
  • Cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when a cookie is set. Some parts of the site may not work without essential cookies.
  • Your customer lists. Ask your campaign manager or email hello@rambunctious.tv to delete a list you have shared, at any time.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep the site working — for example, to remember your plan while you build it and to keep you signed in to your Campaign Desk. We may use analytics tools to understand how the site is used, and advertising measurement tags to measure our own marketing. When any such tools are enabled we will name them here, with a way to opt out. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where the law requires it.

Analytics and advertising. We use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use this site and to measure our own advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may collect pages viewed, device and browser details, approximate location and how you arrived here. We don't send your name, email address, phone number or payment details to them. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to confirm whether we process your personal information; to access it, correct it, or delete it; to receive a copy in a portable form; and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act; California residents have similar rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; residents of other states may have similar rights under their own laws.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@rambunctious.tv with the subject line "Privacy request" or write to us at the address below. We will need to verify that the request comes from you, and we may ask for information to do that. We will respond within the time the law allows, usually 45 days. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to an appeal within the time the law allows and tell you how to contact your state's attorney general if you are not satisfied. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you are our customer's customer — for example, your household was reached by an advertisement we ran for a business — the business that chose to advertise to you is responsible for the data it shared with us. Contact that business first; if you contact us, we will help route your request.

8. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above. Campaign plans, orders, invoices and reports are kept for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as our accounting, tax and legal obligations require. Customer lists shared for targeting are deleted when the campaign ends unless you ask us to keep them (Section 3). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time under Section 7; we will keep only what the law requires us to keep.

9. Security

We protect information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hosting with providers that maintain recognized security certifications. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Rambunctious.tv is a service for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not run campaigns directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email hello@rambunctious.tv and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and if a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell our customers by email before it takes effect.
